Wonder-Space is going national!  After great six years of offering one of Houston's best computer and technology camps, we're ready to bring  our brand of fun and excitement to new cities in Summer 2009.  So check back soon, when we'll be announcing more details about that.


Schedule:

We understand that every camper has a different schedule with different requirements. Wonder-Space presents the following options to accommodate you. If you have any specific requests or desires, please feel free to call us (713) 529 2241 and we will try our best to find ways to help!
 
 Full Day
This is our most popular camp option. Campers arrive
each morning, work on projects, and leave in the evenings.
Bring a sack lunch or choose our lunch option for an
additional $45/week.
 Extended Day Camp

Parents have busy schedules also! The extended day option provides for either one extra hour in the morning or one hour in the evening after camp ends.  Campers will use this time to work on projects or spend time with counselors and directors .  Some campers choose this option as a supplement to their camp experience in order to have more time to play games and finish projects.  Extended day camps can be provided on a day-to-day basis.  Please speak to directors to make arrangements.

 Math Camp

Math Camp is a camp designed for students to brush up on their math skills before school starts.  This camp is available as half or full day.  Because Math Camp focuses on math skills and problem solving, it is a shorter day than our regular computer camp course, ending at 3:45pm.  Math Camp is only offered Week A, August 20-24.  Extended Day is only offered in the morning for Math Camp.

PM:  8:30pm - 6:00pm M-Th, Friday 3:30pm
AM&PM: 7:30am - 6pm M-Th, Fri. 3:30pm

 
Math Camp:

Math Camp:  9:00am-3:45pm, M - Fri.

 
 
Camper's Day Schedule

7:30 am: Extended Day AM campers arrive for open lab time
8:30 am: All campers arrive, check in, relax, and play icebreaker games to start the day!
9:00 am: Three hours of project and learning time with a couple of short stretch breaks. On occasion, we will have special topic discussions and industry guest speakers.
12:30 pm: Let's do lunch. AM campers leave for the day. Bring your own lunch or choose the unch option. The computer lab is open for projects and gaming with your friends and counselors.
1:30pm: PM campers arrive. We've got more than 3 hours of project time and group activity left for the day. Each day ends with a project summary to reinforce the day's topics and objectives.                                  
5:00 pm: All day campers leave for home, residential campers stay for evening activities.
6:00 pm:
Extended Day PM campers leave for home.  Evening: Residential campers spend the evening with our counselors engaging in supervised activities such as gaming tournaments, sports, and movies.
