Ever wonder how animated movies such as Toy Story and Shrek are made? Animation is a complex, modern art – the result of creative ideas broken into small pieces, modified, and choreographed to produce lively animation. The process includes brainstorming, creating a storyline with characters and background, and transferring these ideas from paper to computer animations.
In 3D Game Animation, campers improve modeling, texturing, and lighting skills while learning about the use of game "cameras." Students work in teams to develop and produce a work of animation, and at the end of the week, campers will have animated their own game introductions to show to family and friends!
