Where are the camps held?
Traditionally, all camps have been held at 2211 Norfolk Suite 980, Houston, TX 77098 off of 59S and Greenbriar.

However, Wonder-Space is going national this year!

We're looking to introduce Wonder-Space to Boston, MA, Dallas, TX, and Washington, DC next summer.  So check back soon, when we'll be announcing more details about that.

What is your Camper to Staff Ratio?
Students will be supervised throughout the day at an average 6:1 student to counselor ratio, one of the lowest in Houston.

How does the lunch option work?
Campers can opt to bring a sack lunch or purchase the lunch option ($45) at registration. We cater lunch from area restaurants such as Jason's Deli and Fuddruckers; campers will have several options each day. Snacks will also be available for purchase.

My child has a lot (or no experience). Will he/she be accommodated?
Yes. Our low student to counselor ratio allows for personal instruction from our counselors and directors to determine your child's aptitude level. In addition, our instructors will personally ensure that each student is receiving a balance between thought provoking stimulation, teamwork, and social interaction.

Can my camper sign up for more then one week of camp?
Yes, sign up for multiple weeks to complement the Wonder-Space experience or sign up for the same course for more than one week to add depth to one specific subject.

How much time do students spend on the computer each day? Will there be any other activities?
Students spend about 5-6 hours/day with an instructor working on project-based curriculums. Wonder-Space believes that students shouldn't spend their entire summer in front of the screen and have designed other hands-on educational curriculum related to each camper's coursework. On occasion, counselors will take campers outside for light physical activity.

Is my child too old/young for camp?
No. Our curriculum is designed for all kids ages 7-17 with the occasional exception of 5-6 year olds. Campers will be grouped by age level. Our age suggestions are flexible and serve as a guide for you to choose the correct course for your child.

Will there be any computer game time?
Yes, what is computer camp without a couple of computer games? During the week, there will be special times set aside to play games and surf the Internet. Game Design and Advanced Game Design courses do NOT consist solely of gaming.
